In June 2007, Welspun Tubular LLC laid the foundation stone for setting up a Spiral pipe facility on a 740-acre site adjacent to the Little Rock Port.

Despite, a almost a 180 degree shift from commodity boom to an economic depression, Financial melt-down, credit squeeze, banks failure, added risk of investing in big projects, this $150 million facility started commercial production in February 2009. On 28th April 2009, honorable Governor of Arkansas Mr. Mike Beebe along with the Consulate General of India Mr. Sanjiv Arora, Mayor of Little Rock, Mr. Mark Stodala and Mr. B.K.Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group dedicated this facility to the people of Arkansas.  

Probably one of the best in the World and API certified, this facility, employs over 350 people, mostly local, providing boost to socio-economic development of the region. The plant is capable of producing 350,000 net tons of HSAW pipes annually, hitherto largely imported for the use of the oil and gas industry.

With diversified sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches as outer diameter (OD) and 6 mm to 25 mm as wall thickness (WT), coating and double Jointing capabilities, this facility will provide one stop solution to valued Oil and Gas customers in and around the United States.
